I can’t believe I’ve missed reading about it until now but from the Dojo Rat:

Clifton police say they arrested two men dressed liked ninjas and armed with Asian martial arts weapons who said they were sending a warning to drug users.
Calling themselves “Shinobi warriors,” the men wore black SWAT-type vests and carried knives, throwing stars, swords, nunchucks and a bow and arrows.

I agree that after I stopped laughing I kind of felt good for them for trying to be Samurai in an era that leaves the streets to criminals and drug users. The thought that they could counter modern guns with swords and knives is so naive that I couldn’t stop visualizing an encounter of this sort.

Still people have overcame armed people in the past when they knew how and when to act, still the odds are for the gun.

nice thought , but too much TV ninja turtles. :-)
They do get credit for wanting to do something, when few will stand up.

    Hi Zen,
I can certainly give them credit for good intentions but the whole story is a little funny
