all the emphasis here has been on external power.

lifting weights etc...a bigger stronger person is going to exert a bigger more powerful blow.

the equalizer is the internal strike.

when you feel the internal strike all your questions will be answered. The internal strike penetrates below the surface and is absorbed by the internal organs.

Disruption of chi and penetration of internal organs is all the power one needs. No matter how small the person the damage is extreme.

Not to mention using internal strength means using your body's connections, so the body acts as a whole. Using the body's connection to the ground. Using 'bone and tendon strength' instead of 'muscle strength'. Using your center in all of this and staying relaxed.

you GOT it!

internal energy or chi 'super charges' the body allows all of your energy to penetrate then you can decide what to do with it. ie....guide it.

if all you see is the external you're missing 90% of the power.

My Sifu said yes, and proceeded to list some. Their reply was straightforward- 'You don't have a sufficiently known organization to enter.' Now, my style did have an organization, one that had existed for more than two decades. Whether it was 'sufficiently known' is nice and subjective. I wasn't there for the second time, but you can pretty much imagine a similar
