SERRADA ESKRIMA LOCK & BLOCK (Espada y Daga) SEMINAR in SANTA CLARA, near Santa Clara University, San Jose area, in northern California:
Location: ELMER JOHNSON Park at corner of Monroe St. and Jonathan St. Santa Clara, California. A few blocks from Franklin Mall, and Santa Clara University. Meet in Parking Lot of Elmer Johnson Park at 12 noon.
Time: 12 noon to 3.30 pm
Cost: $ 25, no personal checks.
For: beginners and enthusiasts of Filipino Martial Arts. Also, recommended for advanced Serrada Eskrima practitioners.
EQUIPMENT NEEDED: Preferrably, BRING YOUR OWN STICK. If you do not have one go to Home Depot at Fairoaks and Kifer in Sunnyvale, OR to Orchard Supply Hardware on El Camino Real and Sunnyvale Ave, (behind Burger King and Big 5 Sports Store), in Sunnyvale, and purchase a dowel stick 22 to 24 inches in length, 1.5 inch in thickness. It will cost you $ 2. If they have a longer stick, get it cut over there to 22 to 24 inches, whatever length that feels good in your hands depending upon your arm length from arm-pit to the wrist.
Curriculum: Fundamental counters of Serrada Eskrima, Assembly into Lock & Block practice method, to learn reversal and trapping against LIVE attack.
