You stated "Like I say there's NO such thing as 'panantukan'. It IS western boxing mix with FMA. NOT a legit Filipino art. Everyone knows that". If you knew the history of western boxing you'd know that the original style of western i.e. EUPOPEAN boxing was the john L Sulivan style of boxing, visit:

The old western boxers kept their hands very low. The foot work was linear not triangular like in the FMA. They also kept the fists palms up. These are not traits of FMA empty hand techniques. The FMA empty hands are actually derived from siniwali stick patterns as well as reverse grip or pkal grip dagger techniques. We use limb destructions as well as back fists, elbows, lowline kicks (pananjakman) joint locks and grappling techniques called dumog just to name a few. Western boxing does not use destructions or back fists and in the clinch a ref breaks it up so there is no grappling in western boxing.
in fact it was not until WW2 when the US went to the Philippines and the US soldiers saw the FMA techniques. They copied the style and brought it back to the states. This is where the modern western boxing style comes from. That is a fact! As far as saying it is MMA, you could say that but realize the FMA existed way before your MMA of today.
