I have a question. I am studying JKD (Jeet Kune Do). In the movie 'Dragon- The Bruce Lee Story' Jason Scott Lee plays his roll very good but not in the fighting scenes. Does he have studied Jeet Kune Do for months or is he a Black belt?

He was trained prior to and during the movie by Jerry Poteet. He had no prior JKD or martial arts background.

From a sort of martial arts technocrat standpoint, it's a pity they didn't use the wing chun more faithfully. I suspect that the visual contrast between that and his eventual JKD reformulation might have added to the visual impact of the film, rather than detracted from it.

But then, I'm a martial artist not a movie-maker.
