I practice primarily Yang Style Tai Chi.I live in Sunnyvale, CA. My teacher lives in Cupertino, and I have mostly had private instruction. The group he practices with meets at a place and time that is a nightmare for me to get to. (Los Gatos, 7pm, We, for those who care.). However, it would be beneficial (and fun!) for me to practice with a group. So, I am wondering whether anyone knows a group that practices together in the Sunnvyale area. Informal get-together is fine with me. I can get the instruction I need, just not the group practice that I like and that would be beneficial. I'd prefer Yang style, but Chen would be fine, too (I know parts of the form and like it a lot for its dynamics). Heck, even a Quigong group would be great

You might check out the Taijiquan Exercise Tutorial. This is the group that the late Wu Ta-yeh used to teach (Robert Brown is now the head instructor). The lineage is yang style taijiquan by way of Tung Kai-ying's father, who taught Wu and his wife.

It's a very nice group of people, and I believe they now have a website...the URL is 'www.ttopa.com/tyc.htm'. They have classes at the Mountain View unit of Foothill College during the week, and on Sunday morning work out in a park in Palo Alto.
