Just scored 5 handmade knives in a trade. I've never heard of any of these makers. Can anyone here help me out? 1. 3.5' drop point hunter with rosewood handle marked 'Womack Custom Knives' 2. 4' Drop point hunter finger grooved leather handle marked 'John L Kemp Cutlery Co. 440-B' With an anvil in the center. I'm told he was a foreman at the Randall factory. 3. 3' skinner 1/4' thick. Full sized handle knife and sheath are marked 'Bud'. 4. 4' Guthook skinner white marbled handle marked 'Hand Made by Ed Jones OK City OK' 5. 4' Drop point hunter marked 'R Johnson' Birdseye maple handle with finger grooves. western Pukko type sheath marked 10-14-88
Any ideas on value or any help researching who the maker's are would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Yeah, I forgot about Ruffin Johnson. His knives are beautiful, and probably have some collector value.

Thanks, both of you. I may email this Ruffin Johnson, I ran that name on yahoo and found a few listings for 4' drop points with his name and if it's one of his it could be higher in value than I thought!

If I remember correctly, Ruffin's current logo is 'Lone Wolf' or 'el Lobo Solo' or something to that effect. Your knife may be old.
