Test Shooting TO KILL A GURO

featuring: Martial Arts of Philippine Eskrima and also other martial arts scenes.

Four fight scenes featuring Eskrima and empty-hand were shot this weekend. Still waiting finished results. I think I will be able to now produce the film. Many thanks to all who showed up to participate and then take directions and give us some test footage. Two arts featured were the Serrada system of Eskrima in two fight scenes, and the Largusa Kali in one stick fight and one regular fight scene. One of my friends, karate/TKD expert, will help me shoot a fight scene with a practitioner showcasing wheel-kicks and such without which there can be no martial arts movie. Still the project will require a month of additional preparation as the storyline is shifted from Philippine village setting to actually be a modern time inner city gangwar story. Any person interested in joining us, specially I need one Wing Chun person, contact us. Also I require funding of some thousand dollars [only] to do post production on this 35 mm feature. I am doing the camera work myself on rented camera. Film is composed of five set pieces.
