Even Kiai Masters Can Be Over Confident

I found this video on Total Karate.

Can’t say that I was surprised as the results of the match it is just that I was more feeling sorry for the Master.

Anyway I completely agree with Stephen that Martial Arts don’t need this kind of service.

Yeah I saw that one before. I can only hope his students saw that and stopped wasting their money on his smoke and mirrors class. That nonsense dishonors them. If any of them where mugged the mumbo jumbo that he taught them will do little good.
  • Jennifer responded:
I wouldn’t be so harsh sure he did a huge mistake of feeling he can’t lose but I suppose he can still teach beginners. I kind of feeling sorry for him.
  • Chris | Martial Development responded:
If he can’t demonstrate his skill, then why are we still calling him a master?
  • Rick Matz responded:
Maybe he can’t show anyone because it’s a *secret* style. It’ll only work when no one is looking.
  • Jennifer responded:
I’m not really sure what possessed him to fight in this way probably pride. I guest that growing in one school fighting against fellow students can enable someone to get to a master status without being all that good in the external world.
  • Rick Matz responded:
The people at the top of any organization aren’t necessarily the best; just the ones who have stuck around.
  • Jennifer responded:
I guess it happens in every organization
  • zen responded:
    Sad, I saw it before.
