I've been stepping up my martial arts training lately, and I've started having a lot of muscle twitches in my legs and abdomen. Usually, they're in my hamstrings and quads.

Anyone else experience this? Could it be from my training?

Right now, I spend about four hours per week in Tae Kwon Do class, and an hour and a half in Muy Thai. I train some outside of class, but it varies from week to week. I also lift weights, using a three-day split that hits legs once per week.

Besides the twitching, I'm fine. Anybody got any ideas?

Josh

It *sounds* like overtraining, but you're not really training all that much. How rapidly did you increase your training?
