Hi all,

I'm looking to get into martial arts and in Australia (Victoria), there are a few schools around. John Will teaches Machado style. He's reputedly a good teacher.

There's also another group calling itself 'Gracie Jujitsu'. But the Gracie website explicitly states that the family does not endorse any school outside their official list, and no one in Australia is on that list. There's also another class at the Malvern centre (with Peter Larkins).

Does anyone familiar with Australian BJJ want to give me a run-down? Which school should I go to?

Gracie Jujitsu is not the be all end all of submission fighting study. If there is a good school near you learn from it what you can.
