People that practice Bushido arts are in danger of experiencing injuries and pain in the joints and the back as a result of wrong movements. If you practice there are simple guidelines you might want to follow:
  1. Warming up is really important, the muscles need to have their time to get to their best performance.
  2. Making sure you don’t carry old untreated bodily problems such as old injuries. Martial arts can be a great way to bring your body into shape but you have to listen to what it says if you have previous problems then make sure to go slow and not attempt all the exercises.
  3. Another great advice is to complete your martial art training with massage or even deeper techniques for healing and balancing the body.
Remember martial arts are great but you have to be responsible for the whole body, mind combination. listen to your body it would guide you in case of pain as for the reasons. I personally use mediation of visualizing the painful area and asking it for the causes and the solutions. It may be coming from you but when you stop and attend to what the pain is saying then you might hear something that you may already knew but were reluctant to acknowledge, in other times you might be surprised by the answers you get from your body.
