Are You Ready For Some Teaching?

Long Distance and Deep Half Guard tutorial divided to few posts as well as other tutorials appear on the Aesopian’s Totally Awesome Journal.

Even if you, like me, are not practicing Jiu-Jitsu and focus on other martial arts I still think there is a lot to gain from checking the tutorials and mastering the moves.

Most teacher are not very happy when the student mixes techniques from several martial arts as the teaching is always very specific to a certain tradition.

I wander are we all taking the places we come from (in terms of the traditions) so seriously as to limit or determine the places we go to. After all for the purposes of most people the purity of the technique is an advantage only in the context of the measurement of your progress and the ability to reward you in the existing system.
