3rd Grade Decided Blue Belt!

Yesterday, (Bastille Day) I received my 3rd Grade Decided Blue Belt. How was your Bastille Day?

Congratulations...although I have no idea what level that is!! How many more levels before your Black Belt??

Way to go! I'm glad to hear that you decided. And that you passed. And that what you passed wasn't gas. Ha ha ha. I tested yesterday for my dark mauve sash, but didn't make it. Again. Sigh. So I was demoted back down to mid purple.

My Bastille Day was great. We all crowded into a local prison and ate some cake.

My GrandMaster of The Eastern SunSet(tm) tested my Master for a Stellar Cluster (sans Laurel Wreath of course!!!!!!!) on Bastille Day. He failed and all of his students had to drain a quart of blood from ourselves using gardening tools and then train for 6hrs. Boy was I tired.

MA Log: Tried to make a copy of the Rock(tm) but the dirt wont hold together. Maybe I can sell this as a dirtBomb(tm)? Ate some chicken thighs that weren't stretched. (Yum)

On Bastille Day we lawn bowled with severed heads. Very messy.

Wow, you must have a veritable rainbow of belts by now, and the empty wallet to prove it. Keep this up, and you can join the Rev. Jesse Jackson's 'Rainbow Coalition', joining minorities like native americans, asians (whoops! not a representative minority, sez the govt.), and chicanos everywhere who have joined up with Jesse to present a rainbow of races making this a better world. Stay away from those fried chicken potlucks, however. I think it's starting to be Jesse's own worst enemy.

Red-Black? Is that like a dark marroon?

Actually, he is somewhat bastardizing ATA TaeKwonDo forms, etc. The forms he describe usually have about 1/2 the right moves, and 1/2 weird moves.

The Red-Black belt he is talking about is the belt for First Degree Recommended Black belt. Our last few belts go as he stated. Between Red and Red-Black there is a mid term testing, then once you are BB Recommended (Red-Black) you have another midterm before your Black Belt decided testing. It actually is red and black (1/2 and 1/2), and the belt is worn so the black portion is on top.
